HOW TO APPLY

The requirements for admission into the MIPER Program are as follows:

• A BS or BA with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) at or above 3.0 (4.0 scale) is required.
• Mines undergraduate students who do not meet the overall GPA of 3.0 but who are pursuing the undergraduate IPE Minor or who have taken three or more IPE courses with a minimum of 3.0 in IPE course work may apply.
• The GRE is required. Under certain circumstances, the GRE requirements can be waived. Contact the Program Director for details.
• A TOEFL score of 580 or higher.

Admission to all graduate programs is competitive, based on an evaluation of undergraduate performance, test scores and references.

All application materials are submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies. Once application files are complete, they are forwarded to the MIPER Program Director. All applications should be submitted by the deadlines indicated on the application.
